Painter, illustrator, cartoonist – Pancoast’s extensive art education took him to Paris in 1902 to continue training at the Académie Julian under Jean Paul Laurens. Pancoast and his wife spent summers in their “Studio by the Sea,” Rockport, MA, while his impressive oeuvre was displayed in museums and academies throughout the country.
