ROCK AND ISLAND: CAPE ANN’S LEGACY TO CREATIVE EXPRESSION

Does a dramatic, rockbound coast expand or contain artistic process?

CAPE ANN COLLECTORS explores this question throughout our spring show, “ROCK AND ISLAND: CAPE ANN’S LEGACY TO CREATIVE EXPRESSION”, opening Saturday April 12 and Sunday April 13, 2-6 p.m., running Saturdays through May 10, 1-5 p.m. The edge is always near on Cape Ann, along with dramatic, late-day light – natural catalysts for the explosion of American art upon geological forms of island cliffs, prosaic vistas, harbor coves, and dramatic interiors of rock and juniper.

CAPE ANN COLLECTORS invites you to the vitality of masterworks (among 52 pieces on display) capturing rock and island living – we can’t wait to hear your thinking!
