Cape Ann Collectors is excited to announce the opening of our next show, The Art of the Print: Etchings, Silkscreens, and Lithographs of Cape Ann, on Saturday, July 15th, 5-8pm, at the CAC Gallery, 474 Washington Street, Gloucester.
Many of America’s best etchers and lithographers worked extensively on Cape Ann and we look forward to sharing new examples of their work. In particular, we are featuring the etchings of Stephen Parrish and the lithographs of Stow Wengenroth, along with the bright, lively silkscreens of Nell Blaine. The gallery also presents a great example of William Meyerowitz’s innovative color etching technique, pioneered right here on Cape Ann in his Folly Cove studio. The depth and talent of the Cape Ann artistic legacy continues to fill us with awe.
